Our Trisomy 18 journey
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?
- May

Hi Yin May
Sam Siddique here. Your little girl - her fighting spirit, and love for life - is such an inspiration to me. I am a big, big fan. Please give her a belated birthday hug and kiss from me. She really is one in a million in so many ways.
PS And so are her mummy and daddy :)
I love her precious smile. She always looks so happy. annabel's eyes cross but I was told that it was lack of her small muscle control, but very rarely does it happen now. She is precious and thank you for the pics. I will still pray that somehow we could see you this summer. Ok, if not maybe the prayers can be for the next summer.
Ohhhh!!! So cute cute cute!!!
Vera becomes more beautiful every day. Her smile must light up the room like sunshine.
Here is something very nice and positive in the international news today. The leader of the opposition in the UK has a severely disabled, very much loved son who just died. Of course it is sad that he died but wonderful that his story is shared in such a beautiful way.
Here is the story.
