An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?
- Yin May

congratulations on going to school! she will love it and they will love her i'm sure! and how awesome that she's able to see her feet now! that's so cool that she likes the teether. when kaiya first got one of those she was dead set against it (mostly b/c she doesn't like to have anyone but herself control what is going into her little mouth...)they can use similar types of tips on a machine called a z vibe. vera might enjoy the vibration.
May i know where to get ark probe in Singapore. Thinking to get one for my boy who refuse to open his mouth after staying in hospital for 11mths.
Vera is a cute girl. Give her some time, sure she can do alot of things.
I have the contact for the ark probe and other therapy tools too. Vera hated anything in her mouth when we first started therapy at 6 months. But we had a VERY good therapist and now after 5 months I can say she loves the oral stimulation! I highly recommend feed therapy now if your boy is 11 months - don't wait, reverse the oral aversion now. Do email me for the contact if you're interested.
