The Big Celebration

Vera will be the star attraction tomorrow. We'll be celebrating her 1st birthday with family and friends, and the guest list has come up to almost 90 people! Hopefully, the little girl won't be too overwhelmed. But the stimulation could mean very good sleep after the party for her (or the opposite). Due to her low immunity, we are advised to keep her away from big crowds. So fingers crossed that she doesn't catch a bug from anybody. Worry, worry. 'Tis what all mothers do.

Wow, what a celebration! I am hoping for some pictures. I am sounding so pushy. One year old and what an amazing story she continues to tell.
About the flying, I had no clue how far, yuck! We have only flown 4 hours so would hate to advise you on that one. I am always worried about not being able to travel with oxygen. She has done fine all three times we have flown, not cried at all. i was told to use Benydrl but didn't need it. I am not a flyer anyway. Did you come to the US often before Vera?

happy happy birthday vera! how exciting to have all of your family and friends with you to celebrate the big day! i'm with cathy, i hope we get to see lots of pictures.

and on another note...it would be amazing if you flew out for the conference. i don't have a lot of flying experience with kaiya either - we have taken a plane to the last 2 conferences but they were only 3 hour flights and she slept the entire time we were flying. kaiya doesn't use oxygen so i don't know anything about that...but i did see an ad for this oxygen thing on tv and it made me think of all our trisomy kids travelling. it says it's approved for FAA use.
