let's give her a big ROUND OF APPLAUSE!"
Vera tried 'walking' on the floor of the pool in school for the first time today, with the help of her teacher. Mummy got the chance to fantasize about her future.
An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?

May, I am beyond impressed. Her school looks incredible.
I have made a post about Brianna. Brenda seems so scared. They are at her moms not near a good hospital. She seems to be having these blue spells very often and Brenda mentioned being very scared they were losing Brianna. Just wanted to keep you posted.
Way to go Vera, you've just finish the 1.5km swim (standard swimming distance for Ironman. (Jia you)!
