Luvable Friends
A good friend brought her daughter to visit. It was so nice to see an older child so enchanted with Vera. I think Vera liked her too.

An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?
- Yin May

What a sweet picture! Thank you for sharing? What are you doing about her oxy at night? Any success?
Cathy, she's still on blow by oxy, and the cold draft seems to irritate her nose and make her sneeze in her sleep.
Those are really beautiful pictures. I love the expression on the little girls face. She is so taken with sweet Vera.

Oh, May, I just love these pictures - especially the first one! I love kids.
I keep meaning to ask you about Vera's eye, but my entire email acct deleted again, and I lost your email address. Duh, I just saw it was in your profile, so I'll email you.
