An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?

Hello Mommy.
I stumbled upon your blog. As a mum myself (to a 3 year old and a 1 month old), I can only imagine what you must have gone through, and are going through. I only have great admiration for you and I pray for continuous strength and courage for you. Vera is such a special girl who has excelled against all
Odds. :) happy birthday to her, and I look forward to seeing
More of her recovery miracles.
Ps: I do not have special needs children but I have a sister who is brain- damaged and wheelchair bound. I understand the struggles and the stress a caregiver experiences. My mum Is amazing like you in this sense. :)
