One Pull
...and it's out! We found the ng tube, next to the little girl. I think she's going to get much better at this with daily practice.

An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?
- Yin May

that's how kaiya let us know she was done with the tube...three days after we brought her home from the hospital she tore the thing out.
it's a pain that she's taking it out when they are so tough to get in. but how exciting that she realizes that she can remove something that is bothering her!
