An extraordinary girl living with Trisomy 18
"A simple child, that lightly draws its breath, and feels its life in every limb,
What should it know of death?"
- William Wordsworth
Without weakness,
how do we find strength?
Without darkness,
how do we see the light?
Without sorrow,
how do we savour joy?
Without silence,
how do we learn to listen?
Without fear,
how do we learn to be brave?
Without death,
how do we treasure life?
Without loss,
how would we know what we have gained?

YAY for the little girl to be born so soon, with no chromosomes messed up, as far as they can see. Do you have a name for her yet, or is that something you are still pondering?
Wow!! A sweet little boy soon to join Vera.
He will be very challenged to compete with sweet Vera for the selfless and pure love and life lessons that his big sister has brought with her life and which her wonderful parents have shared with all of us.
Nonetheless, I am sure he will be as cute as a button and perfect in his own way!
Congratulations to all of you. Thanks for sharing this wonderful news. I hope you are feeling well, May.

Feeling more tired easily and aching here and there but otherwise very relieved by the results. and definitely more positive about the pregnancy.
I'm sure this little one will give new challenges of a different kind.
No names in mind yet...open to suggestions!
